Foreign investors ready to bring business to Garden Route

Foreign investors say they’re ready to bring their business to the Garden Route following an Investment Conference at George.

The conference attracted delegations from Singapore, Sweden and China.

The region is already a leader in sectors such as agriculture, timber, oil and gas.

“We are here to state that there’s a formal commitment from Sweden, from Swedish companies to engage, not just short term, long term and we see this area of SA that has potential and the willingness not just from the political angle, it’s also from the business,” says Staffan Arbring from Business Sweden.
